What a meal!
Haven't eaten this well since 5-course dinner with Taariq at Bukit Timah
That was only last week actually
Was a set course so we didn't know what was coming next
When I asked what dish was being served, the waiter said some fancy French name
Turned out it was an in-between to freshen the palate, ready it for main course
Sorbet, in other words
Of course I had to decide to question the dish that would prove my idiocy to atas dining

Today is another level altogether
Last Tuesday was simple:
Olive bread and butter, fancy asparagus, chickpea soup with turkey bacon
Seafood tart (yes, a baked, total "wtf, how do we eat this??", tart)
Sorbet, codfish, blackforest cake and tea

Today was order whatever our hearts desired
For starters, I had truffle fries, mushroom platter and escargot
Licked clean my crabmeat aglio olio downed with a bottle of Asahi
In between, a fried wing with Thai chilli sauce and ratatouille
For desserts, waffles with ice cream & lava cake with ice cream
Plus a buffalo drumstick & parma ham and melon to end it off
I can't guarantee I listed everything I had amidst that variety!
Consider that the reward to a whole afternoon of filing and setting off ma ol' sensitive nose

In other news, turns out my weighing scale at home was unreliable after all!
Did a medical checkup yesterday and I am only down 1kg from my average weight
With my internship and without rugby training, this dinner will pile that kg back on!

In Brandon's news, YK got placed on a bounty for losing a battle
CCB kena whacked until she died in one hour
Now I know what I can use that excess money for
That bastard who attacked her 5 times... Die.
