I see a lot of application in what I'm studying but due to shortage of time, I've taken to memorising and taking it as is rather than understanding. Exams bring out this result and that shouldn't be the purpose of education. OM is like Biology but worse because there's no exam practice papers to confirm that I need to memorise the types of facility layouts and the advantages and disadvantages of using computer-aided design and manufacturing systems. So much content is intuitive. Like duh, why would I want to use cellular layouts for cafeteria lines? It feels pointless to study the different types of layouts now when when the time comes for me to actually apply them, I can just refer back to the textbook or other manuals and select the best. Come on lah, this kind of stuff primary school kid also can do, don't need to test an undergrad on how many layouts he has on the tips of his fingers right?
NUS is a freakin' island lah. Go here go there, is all within NUS. Nabehs. I want to go out and see the world, Pam's Facebook friend also don't want. I want my own PRIVATE TRANSPORT!
I'm craving for more nonsense instant noodles
